Puppet Workshop

We had a puppet show in school in early February. David John brought in over 100 puppets for the children to work with. They learned a variety of things from the visit including ventriloquism, how puppets work, techniques and styles. The children benefited greatly from the opportunity to use the puppets and enhanced their speaking and listening skills. The morning was fun. There was lots of laughter and the whole experience naturally developed story making, role play and language. All the children from 3 to 11 were able to participate. The event was a great success. The juniors will be making puppets next term.
