Road Safety Training

East Riding offered training in Road safety to all schools in the county this term. Bishop Wilton’s junior pupils were trained in how to choose a safe place to cross, crossing at junctions and crossing between parked cars (only when there is no where safer to cross). All the children passed their training and gained certificates. The pupils also visited the road safety site www.hedgehog.gov.uk on the web on their return to the classroom.
