Thank you for your very generous contributions and sponsorship of the Red Nose Day activities. The school was very colourful on Friday and the children wore their various shades of red quite happily.

Very well done to the junior class who managed to keep silent for a full 30 minutes.
Congratulations to Mrs Mackenzie’s class who stayed silent for 15 minutes.
Even the Foundation class made their target of 5 minutes!

All the junior class wanted to run around the field on Friday afternoon. (The children’s fitness levels and enthusiasm for sports have really improved since they have had the regular input from Schools Sports support!)

We were also able to raise money from selling decorated biscuits and cakes at playtime. Sincere thanks for providing these. We think the children were able to appreciate why they were doing these activities and what raising money would mean for children who were in need.
