Fourteen pupils aged 7-11 enjoyed a very successful trip to Kingswood. They were very busy doing laser zone, climbing wall, archery, nightline, and the zip wire! We also had the opportunity to enhance our ICT skills. The children used photographs of their activities to make slide shows with captions. They were able to make finishing touches such as adding artistic finishes to each slide and creating musical compositions from samples. They also created their own mini movies and enjoyed a hilarious film preview during the ‘Hollywood Nights’ activity. The ICT instructor thought the group were all year 5 and 6s despite some of them being so small, since their ICT skills and concentration on the tasks was so good! The food was excellent and there were clean plates at every meal. We had a very good group leader – Jill (Jelly Bean) who guided us all through every activity and made the trip so enjoyable for all of us despite the rain.
